A menswear shop has been on the Cadge site since 1903 but was formerly owned by Bryant's. Gurteen bought it in the 1970s but kept the Bryant name until the shop was refurbished in 1992 when it was re-named Robert Cadge and later just Cadge. Richard, who was originally with Burtons in Norwich, took over as manager 15 years ago and has been president of the St Ives Chamber of Commerce for the last 5 years. He lives in Somersham, enjoys walking holidays and plays golf.
