The club was started in the late 1980s, has some 20 members and shoots in a field off Meadow Lane. Chairman is Phil Compton, an optician in Huntingdon, and secretary is Paul Caswell, a composites engineer making body panels for Jaguar and other performance cars. Pictured is Richard Askew who uses a 3-shot Winchester automatic - an unusual choice in a sport that still favours double-barrelled over and under guns. Richard, a maintenance engineer, has been shooting for 8 years and does it "just for fun and because it makes lots of noise".
