Ted started his business, TV Aerial Services, in Huntingdon in 1965 and moved to East Street, St Ives 12 years ago. He now specialises is satellite aerial installation. His grandfather was one of the last bargees to bring cargo up the river, stabling the horses that pulled the barges behind the Dolphin Hotel. The barge trade ceased about 1920. Ted is associated with St Ives Town Football Club and was their groundsman for three years.
