52. Reverend David Moore. Photo: Stuart Littlewood/Ricoh XR7/Ilford FP4 Plus
Father David, as he is fondly known by parishioners, has been vicar of St Ives parish church of All Saints since 1983. He was born in Yorkshire and moved to St Ives from Nuneaton in Warwickshire. He is married to Diane and has five grown-up children. The earliest existing parts of All Saints Church date from the 12th century and a window in the south aisle is 14th century. The spire has been rebuilt several times and the interior was extensively altered in the 1890s when the screen and organ were added. In 1918 an aircraft taking off from Hemingford Meadow flew straight into the spire causing extensive damage.
