Anne Castleton (centre) has worked as a volunteer for the British Heart Foundation for 16 years and is currently their area organiser. Assisted by Jim, Geoff and other local people they have raised over £50,000 for the charity. The annual sponsored swim and cycle ride is well supported by the people of St Ives. In the bridge chapel at Christmas they were inviting people to light a candle in memory of those who have lost their lives to heart disease.
