Kevin, a local family man with 6 children and 4 grandchildren is Assistant Divisional Officer with the Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue service. He is a member of the Conservative Party and has been the elected district councillor for St Ives (North Ward) for 12 years. He was Mayor of St Ives in 1993 and is the new Chairman of Huntingdonshire District Council, succeeding Pree Newbon.
