David & Sylvia came to St Ives from Yorkshire in 1971. David was a bookbinder & Sylvia a nurse. They started their fishmongering business about 20 years ago as a mobile unit in St Ives Market and have made the business flourish. Today they run a mobile unit four days a week in St Ives and operate a wholesale business supplying restaurants, etc. They have built up a reputation for high quality fish and regular customers include some well-known household names.
